Following her career as an editor for The Telegraph and The Sunday Times Style magazine, Tiffanie Darke and fashion director Daniela Agnelli founded Agora Ibiza, a live magazine concept and fashion boutique located in the luxury, eco-friendly resort Six Senses, where they create a storytelling and retail platform for a curated selection of artisan and sustainable brands.
She recently launched It's Not Sustainable, a weekly newsletter to raise awareness and deepen the conversation around fashion sustainability. As Tiffanie splits her time between London and Ibiza, we asked her to share her favorite spots in the northern part of the Island:
What three words would you use to describe the area?
Creative, powerful, transformative.
What is your favorite place for a cocktail?
The Agora café! On special nights we take over the garden restaurant outside of our store, invite in local musicians, serve delicious cocktails, and have small bowls of traditional Ibicemcan food passed around. Inevitably it ends in dancing.
Favorite spot for people-watching and style inspiration?
Aside from Agora (!) it has to be Las Enamoradas, a small boutique hotel and beachside restaurant in nearby Portinatx. The owners are very stylish, as are their customers, and whether it's lunch or dinner you can always expect some glorious outfits.
Favorite shopping spot?
Chai Shop. Great friends of ours who live locally and have a design studio brimming with glorious finds from their travels in Morocco, Bali, Ibiza and more. Also Annie's Vintage for the best selection of one-of-a-kind pieces.
Which ODP piece is a must for sight-seeing/wearing?
Without doubt the cross body ODP water bottle bag. Never without it mid summer. The chicest way to stay hydrated.
What is an insider tip or secret when visiting this area?
Stay open. Listen. Stay up late. Good stuff happens!
