Officina del Poggio goods are made with locally-sourced high-quality materials. Our goods undergo strict quality control processes and any small flaws of the leather are due to the handicraft tanning processes. Small inequalities are thus not to be considered as defects but as unique distinctive elements accentuating the personal character of each piece. 

We proudly offer a guarantee that every Officina del Poggio purchase meets our high standards of quality. This guarantee is a two-year repair policy for the structural function of our bags under normal wear and tear and anything that may be the result of any manufacturing defects. Cosmetic issues are not covered under our repair policy.

Our core collection consists of durable and resistant Italian vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany. Vegetable tanning is a traditional process, passed down generations over the last centuries, mixing antique recipes and state-of-the-art technology.  The eco-friendly process transforms raw hides into the final skins in wooden drums, using natural tannins extracted from trees and other organic matter.  

Our bags are meant to be loved and worn on your daily adventures. The leather is treated with a slight finishing to protect it against wear. However, we advise to not put your bag in close contact with dark-colored jeans or other materials which could transfer their colors, and exposure to water can create spots on the lighter colors of the leather trim, which will gently fade over time. 

For general maintenance and care, the best option is to take your bag to a trusted leather goods repair shop or use commercial products made specifically for leather goods.
