All of the leathers we use are certified tanneries of the Leather Working Group, a global multi-stakeholder community committed to building a sustainable future with responsible leather through enforcing best practices and positive social and environmental change for responsible leather production.

Crafted with Italian vegetable-tanned leather, with skins from northern Europe tanned in Tuscany. The tannery is a founding member of the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium, using traditional methods using natural plant-derived dyes rather than harmful chemicals. The leather is lightly treated with a finishing to protect from scratches and ensure an even patina.
