Born in West Texas and currently residing in New York City, Rob Wilson is an award-winning artist and creative director. 

He has brought his wit and distinctive style to collaborations with Valentino, Dell, Design Within Reach, Marc Jacobs, Neiman Marcus, HarperCollins, Monocle, The Washington Post, Todd Snyder NY, The Mercer, Nasher Sculpture Center, Vespa and The Wall Street Journal. His work has been honored by Communication Arts, AIGA, Type Director’s Club, and Graphis, and he is a member of the Society of Illustrators. Rob was part of “First Things First,” during NYCxDesign Week and the ArtSpace 14 Exhibition at Pan McMillan London. 

In 2018, Rob was nominated for the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award.

All of the leathers we use are certified tanneries of the Leather Working Group, a global multi-stakeholder community committed to building a sustainable future with responsible leather through enforcing best practices and positive social and environmental change for responsible leather production.

This item features Italian vegetable-tanned leather from Tuscany, with skins from farms in northern Europe tanned in Tuscany.  The tannery is a founding member of the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium, using traditional methods using natural plant-derived dyes rather than harmful chemicals.
