All of the leathers we use are certified tanneries of the Leather Working Group, a global multi-stakeholder community committed to building a sustainable future with responsible leather through enforcing best practices and positive social and environmental change for responsible leather production.
A complete by-product of the food industry, traditionally the leftover skins of the salmon surpassed the demand. Skins were too small to use for leather goods, however our tannery discovered a method of fusing the skins to create large panels, which are then able to be cut, creating less waste. This material was sourced in collaboration with The Sustainable Angle, a London-based non-profit organization founded to initiate and support projects which contribute to minimizing the environmental impact of the fashion industry.
